The Marvel Cinematic Universe (known by some fans as the Avengers universe) is a shared fictional universe that is the setting of superhero films independently developed by Marvel Studios, based on characters published in Marvel Comics.
The setting is much like the Marvel Universe in comic books. The universe was established by crossing over shared plot elements, settings, cast, and characters.
The films set in this shared universe that have been released theatrically are:
- Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk in 2008
- Iron Man 2 in 2010
- Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011
- The Avengers in 2012
- Iron Man 3 and Thor 2: The Dark World in 2013
- Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014
- The Avengers 2: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man in 2015
- Captain America 3: Civil War and Doctor Strange in 2016
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok in 2017
- Black Panther, Avengers 3: Infinity War and Ant-man and the Wasp in 2018
Many others movies are planned to be released as well, like:
- Captain Marvel, Avengers 4: Endgame and Spider-man: Far from Home in 2019
- Possible more movies later, as well
Each film released within the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been commercially and critically successful.
Also part of the MCU verse, are the tv series like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Agent Carter and the web series like Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, The Punisher The Defenders, Runaways, Cloak & Dagger, Inhumans and the upcoming New Warriors, Damage Control and Vision and the Scarlet Witch.
While not as powerful as their comic versions, there are several characters who can easily solo verses like Black Cat, Soul Eater, Hunter x Hunter, D.Gray-Man and the HST.
Their speed levels range from supersonic/ hypersonic+ to massively hypersonic+ to even FTL and they still have a somewhat good amount of hax.
The top tiers and god tiers with certain artifacts and hax can reach at least large planet level and even become universal to even multiversal threats.
